New Single Alabama Boy

Hey!

I am so excited to share with you my new song Alabama Boy. I wrote this song in December 2021. It was just one of those nights, sitting in front of the fireplace, a gas one, a wood-burning one would be nice but the one I have is still cozy.

This song brings me back to the first time I was in Nashville. For years friends of mine who moved to Nashville told me I belonged there. It was the place for me. They were right! My whole spirit just lit up with joy on the first day in Nashville. I knew that it would be my home one day. I just didn’t know when I would be back. I also didn’t know that I would one-day record songs in Nashville. Life is full of the unknown but God has a plan and brought me back to the city I fell in love with.

When I wrote Alabama boy I didn’t know when I would record it or who would produce it. I met producer John Kennedy through a friend I met in Nashville the first time I visited a few years ago. Pretty amazing how things work out!

Recording Alabama Boy is a special moment for me because it is the first time I have truly bet on myself. Believed in me. I decide to just go for it. It was scary but I knew it is something that I have to do. Write and sing country music. Alabama Boy felt like the right song to start with since it talks about Nashville and how love and music bring people in this city together.

You may be wondering, do I know a boy from Alabama? No, but I suppose I may have met one at Honky Tonks on Broadway the first time I visited for my friend’s Bachelorette! Who knows?!

So here is Alabama Boy, I hope you love it as much as I do. It is about the innocence of love. It is about love at first sight when you meet someone and you can imagine your life with them. It is about meeting someone on a trip with your friends and how love can change your life and make it better. Love is a beautiful thing and we are all searching for that someone. Who knows maybe you will meet him somewhere in Nashville, a chance encounter destined to happen. If he is from Alabama, then this is your song.

Thanks for listening.
